Inverness-born singer-songwriter and musician Kathryn Joseph is known for creating captivating soundscapes. Combining dreamy melodies with visceral, often melancholy poetry, her music is described as “urgent, sparse, and largely unembellished, its intimate, slow-burning intensity rendered without distraction or added drama” (Pitchfork).

Debut album bones you have thrown me and blood I’ve spilled won the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Award in 2015.
