Xander Harris is the pseudonym of Austin, Texas electronic artist Justin Sweatt. Named after the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show character, Xander Harris is known for blending tense atmospherics, Italo disco and 1980s horror film soundtracks into his music and his remix work has seen him reinterpret material from Mogwai. The 2016 album California Chrome is an exploration of hallucinations and his fascination with 60s counterculture in California.
